Conscious Parenting Meetup

Being a parent is an extremely rewarding, challenging and humbling experience. With such a wide array of opinions and philosophies on the best ways to educate, nurture, and discipline children; many parents feel overwhelmed and uncertain about what methods will work best for their family.

This meetup aims to create a compassionate space of collaboration where parents can be honest about how they currently show up as parents, how they desire to show up and what tangible steps can be taken to bridge this gap; so that their parenting style is consciously rooted in an authentic place of love, trust, and empathy.

The intention of this meetup is for parents to walk away with a better understanding of their childhood, how they were raised, how that contributed to who they are and how they parent today, and ultimately how they can be consciously present in the moments when their child needs them the most.

About your facilitators

Kendall is a father of two toddlers. He has personally seen how important community is to well-being. As a father, he had trouble finding programming that incorporated reflection, mindfulness, and meditation specifically aimed at supporting parents. His mission is to create a space that allows others to authentically connect with their inner child so that they can be the parents they have always wanted to be.

Kevin is passionate about empowering others to reflect, connect, and reset habitually. Kevin spent 6+ years managing projects within the transportation, nuclear, and software industries. Since obtaining his professional coaching license, he has become an advocate for others to explore their own natural tendencies so that they may become more self-aware in their habitual practices. His mindful approach creates understanding and invites the development of more intentional and valuable habits. He encourages others to be an advocate for change and reflection. He has spoken at numerous corporations, schools, and community events across the nation, aspiring to help others create powerful habits in their personal and professional lives. He is the founder and Chief Visionary of Habitual Roots, a community dedicated to being the integration point of emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and habit change.
