What would you say if you had a place to let it all out?
To speak the truths you maybe haven’t even said to yourself yet. To let the emotions come through that you haven't fully tapped.
One thing heard again and again in Courage Club lately is that the challenges of this year have been revealing.
What isn’t working in our lives. What we really want. What we truly need. What matters most.
If you’ve been to a CC event before, you know there’s often an emphasis on solutions and action. Tonight, we set that aside to emphasize sharing our stories.
No, not story in a performance sense. Just what's real for you. The new pursuit calling to you that you haven’t fully stepped into. The hurt you don’t know if you can hold. The relationship you wish could be different. The change you feel driven to make that could alter so much.
This is a place where it's okay to be afraid or uncertain or tender. We'll weave our experiences together to create a thread that unites us in compassionate courage. And even if you aren't moved to share, you can come be witness.
We'll celebrate the good that has been revealed too. Something you've found you care about more than you knew.
Drawing from Parker Palmer’s work on spaces where it’s safe for the soul to show up, we’ll create a night where these truths can come out. So that they can propel us forward.

About Your Facilitator:
Galen began Courage Club in 2016 to help people free themselves from fear. He has offered workshops, coaching, and community to thousands of people throughout the world.
Trained in peer support as a director at NAMI Western Carolina, a chapter of the largest grassroots mental health org in the U.S., Galen also draws on trauma-informed practices, polyvagal theory, positive psychology, adult attachment theory, and the latest neuroscience.
Before Courage Club, he created opportunities for people to find work they love as executive director of the local innovation space New Leaf Initiative, which put State College, PA, on the map as one of Entrepreneur magazine’s best cities.
Whether you’re a creator or a creative, a student or a senior, already bold or just beginning, he loves working together to discover the thrill on the other side of fear.
