Monday Meditation: Embodying Peace

Enjoy a balancing breath and simple movement meditation with Devon Sweeney, local yoga and meditation teacher and friend of Archipelago. Anchor your awareness in the simple rhythms of your body to explore your innate capacity to regulate your attention, energy, and state of mind. We will relax and become centered in contemplation, creating inner space for the spontaneous flow of insight, to serve our own creative and spiritual unfolding during these changing times. 

Devon will lead an intentional progression of breath practice, seated meditation, and simple energetic body movements done from a comfortable sitting position. No meditation experience necessary.

Devon is a student of inner ritual and energetic movement. She shares her art as a yogini and teacher of movement meditation. She is a student tantric yoga, an intuitive bodyworker, and a devoted Yin Yoga teacher and enthusiast. Devon’s practices are delicately balanced experiences of rhythm and flow, subtle cueing and unique somatic patterning. In Devon’s teaching style, the techniques are dynamic containers to explore the healing effect of breath and remember our essential intelligence. She guides her students through the process of learning how to cultivate a sense of internal support and empowerment.
