Whether you’re completely new, or have years of previous dance experience, come learn (or relearn) the basics to the art of ballet. This class will introduce basic movement vocabulary, proper body alignment, and coordination of simple sequences of the legs, feet, arms, and head.
Together we’ll flow through a safe, simple and easy going traditional barre warm-up followed by open floor practices. Come feel the art of slowing down through simple yet intentional movement.
What you’ll need: socks, preferably non-carpet floor (we can work with carpet if that’s all you have access to), easy moving (but tight) clothes, and a piece of furniture to act as a “barre.” This can be a kitchen counter, back of a couch, etc.
Bonus points for sparkly outfits, tutus, hair buns, bows and friends!
