Elyse Sundita started Diwata Knits as a way to bring knitting and her Filipina heritage together. Diwata derives from the Tagalog language of the Philippines meaning Goddess. This craft has opened up a world of understanding in to her intuitive power and is being pulled to teach others how to do the same.  Elyse has taught classes at both The Craft Box and Fancy Tiger Crafts and is venturing on her own to deliver these intimate sessions in a non-traditional way.
