In this workshop you will learn fun hands-on Thai Massage skills to use on yourself and practice with friends or loved ones at home.
Thai Massage has roots as a communal healing practice and also as a holistic medicine system. Imagine how much your personal wellbeing will improve when you can regularly trade bodywork with others in your community!
Practiced as a moving meditation, Thai Massage is infused with “metta” loving kindness towards the recipient and the self, making it therapeutic to give and receive.
You will awaken your heart and invoke your practice with traditional mantra, practice a few techniques on yourself, then take turns with your partner to give and receive mini-sequences. You and your partner will exchange acupressure and assisted stretches resembling yoga postures. Experience relief and relaxation by stimulating the movement of energy through the body while releasing underlying tension.
Whether you are a beginner, or a healing practitioner looking for more skills, this workshop is suitable for all levels. You’ll leave feeling a sense of accomplishment and relief, with fun new sensual tricks and a Thai Massage sequence to practice at home!

About Your Guide
Facilitator / Instructor: Nicole Lilly, MA, LMT, RSMT
Thai Massage was one of the first healing practices Nicole learned on her journey as a hands-on healing practitioner. Her first Thai Massage course in Chiang Mai in 2012 created a cultural connection to the lineage, and she has continued to integrate this modality as a practitioner through the evolution of her work, which now includes many other body-mind and spiritual healing methods. She brings over 8 years of development to her teaching, and has enjoyed sharing experiential practices with groups of all sizes, both locally and abroad. As a transformation catalyst, she offers private individual healing sessions and monthly group practices to empower individuals in their own journey of awakening.
She hold Master’s level education in Body Psychotherapy, massage licenses in Colorado and Texas, and is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist through the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA).
