In this workshop, Amie Phillips of Boriya & Co, will teach you all the basic macrame knotting techniques to create your own unique plant-hanger. We will cover the history of macrame as well as all your macrame questions such as sourcing rope and what length is needed for various projects. This skill-set is one you can utilize in the future to craft wall hangings or other plant hanger designs! 

All materials to fashion your plant hanger and a mimosa are included in class cost.

Amie Phillips is a fiber artist currently living and working in Denver, CO. She received her BFA in Art from Palm Beach Atlantic University and developed a love for textile design during her years spent in Rajasthan, India. After three summers as a river guide, she repurposed her knotting skills into a Macrame. Amie has run Boriya & Co and taught macrame workshops since 2015, and enjoys sharing her love for the craft with others.
